Thailand's government-owned telco, CAT Telecom, recently signed an agreement with IBM for the provision of cloud services.
CAT provides a complete range of telecom services to Thai customers, including voice, data, e-business and IT security operations.
The agreement with IBM will allow CAT to provide a more comprehensive suite of IT services running on secure and high-performing cloud-based infrastructure. It also expects to be able to reduce cost and increase productivity.
IBM said customers will benefit from this new infrastructure through pay-per-use models, with IT resources that can be scaled to accommodate business growth.
