CASBAA Convention 2006

As Asia's foremost broadcast industry event of the year, the CASBAA Convention 2006 gathers more than 500 senior decision-making executives from around the world for a four-day programme devoted to the key issues facing the communications industry.

In a banner year - as the Cable & Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA) celebrates its 15th anniversary - the CASBAA Convention 2006 is tagged 'From Bandwidth to Brandwidth', highlighting the realities of the broadband and multi-media revolutions and the new creative and business opportunities for pay-TV platforms operators, content providers and telcos of all kinds from across the region.

The CASBAA Convention 2006 will also analyze the extraordinary Asia Pacific capital infusion provided by the new content outlets and the fresh impetus given to creative business models for IPTV platforms, wireless networks and HDTV services, as well as the traditional cable & satellite television markets.

Incorporating specific forums dedicated to China and India, as well as analysis-driven conference sessions on Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan and Korea, market realities are top of the agenda at the CASBAA Convention 2006.
