BT has recently launched three new cloud services in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa (AMEA).

All of three new cloud services, called BT One Cloud Cisco, BT One Cloud Lync and BT for Life Sciences, will be delivered through BT's own global network infrastructure, including its cloud data centers spanning across 20 different countries.

BT One Cloud Cisco is a global platform that features full unified communications capabilities, including high-definition (HD) voice, multi-party HD video, instant messaging (IM) and presence, and mobile clients delivered by Cisco Jabber.

To improve the visual quality of virtual meetings, this UC cloud solution is delivered through BT's data centers in the Americas, the UK and Asia Pacific. Each geographic location/region has two data centers to ensure high availability.

Jabil Circuit, a global electronic product solutions company, has since April rolled out BT One Cloud Cisco to create a UC ecosystem to streamline global collaboration among its 175,000 employees, customers and suppliers.

BT One Cloud Lync provides a single, unified platform to deliver fully-managed private cloud service with enterprise telephony and video with the standard feature set of presence, IM and conferencing.

One Cloud Lync provides hybrid deployment capability (single tenant, multi-tenant and legacy integration) with 99.99% availability SLA.

Australia-based engineering advisory WorleyParsons has in June rolled out BT One Cloud Lync to connect its 35,000 staff in 200+ locations across 40+ countries.

BT also launched its Cloud Connect program across AMEA. Customers across the region can connect directly through BT's network to various other software-as-a-service providers and to more than 200 third- party data centers worldwide.
