(The Statesman via NewsEdge) Indian carrier BSNL unveiled a massive plan to expand its existing fixed-line, mobile, and WLL services in Puja.

According to BSNL, part of the expansion efforts includes the setting up of 700 mobile towers, followed by the completion of the long waiting list of landline customers.

BSNL official UN Mahalick further said BSNL will be targeting to complete 18,000 new landline connections in Puja.

Three new land line exchanges shall be set up in rural areas, the official said.

The official added that BSNL will also expand the capacity of its mobile networks by putting up another 86 mobile stations within two months.
