Navtel Communications has introduced a test application that is specifically designed to test access and interconnect border gateway functions for IMS networks.
The application is specifically designed to test IMS border gateways during the various phases of the product development life cycle - functional, negative, load, interoperability and regression testing.
It emulates primary and secondary controllers and the entire subscriber population with a single easy-to-use and intuitive application. Navtel says this test strategy reduces the need for several test boxes to emulate the IMS test network and simplifies the testing of IMS border gateways.
The application provides comprehensive statistics and troubleshooting capabilities, allowing test engineers to easily isolate and fix faults.
