Baidu has announced the departure of its second senior executive in ten days.

CTO Li Yinan resigned from the Chinese search firm yesterday for personal reasons, Baidu said. On January 8, chief operating officer Peng Ye announced his immediate exit also for “personal reasons.”

Li, a former Huawei vice-president who had been in the post for two years, will become CEO of Umessage, which provides the 12580 info service portal for China Mobile, sina.com reported.

His resignation also comes a week after a DNS attack by Iranian hackers brought the company’s search site down for several hours.

Separately, Li predicted that following Google’s exit from the market, the company’s revenue would grow fortyfold in the next ten years to 160 billion yuan ($23 billion), Sohu IT reported.
