NVision Solutions releases iPhone app for oil spill
NVision Solutions has released the Oil Spill Response iPhone App in answer to the disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. The free app allows users to report oil incidents found along the coastal regions, including oiled shorelines and wildlife as well as generic reports on oil-related damage and incidents.
Skype debuts on Sony Ericsson
Skype has made available its services on three Sony Ericsson smartphones based on the Symbian platform -- the Satio, Vivaz and Vivaz pro. The devices can now use Skype on the move, over either a Wi-Fi or mobile data connection (3G, GPRS, EDGE).

Momail will launch in the third quarter of this year its Virtual App Store, which is especially developed for emerging markets. The store will be made available through Momail's Digital Content Delivery platform, which enables users to subscribe or connect to their favorite social community or internet service through a variety of channels.
Citibank launches HK's first multi-platform app
Citibank has launched in Hong Kong the first multi-platform mobile application called "Citi Mobile." The free app is compatible with most common mobile operating systems and available on four different platforms -- iPhone App Store, Android Market, Market Place and Ovi Store.
ESPN, StubHub release ticketing solution
ESPN and StubHub have teamed up to introduce a mobile ticketing solution that will allow fans to buy tickets directly from their mobile phone. The StubHub Mobile Ticketing Center will be available through both the ESPN ScoreCenter App and the ESPN Mobile Web.
MicaRed unveils WebDAV client app for iPhone and iPad
MicaRed has unveiled its OverTheAir, a WebDAV (web-based distributed authoring and versioning) client for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. OverTheAir is a solution that allows users to view their files in any WebDAV-enabled server, including Mobile Me iDisk, Box.net, filesanyware, myDisk, SwissDisk and more.
Skycore app makes iPhones barcode scanners
Skycore has released its codeREADr platform that allows iPhones to be used as barcode scanners. CEO Rich Eicher said the app-run iPhone is not meant to replace commercial scanners, but for the budget conscious and for new, unique applications enabled with a scanner in one's pocket.
