Amdocs has signed a multi-year managed services agreement with Canadian firm Data and Audio Visual Enterprises Wireless (DAVE Wireless).
Under the agreement, DAVE Wireless has licensed billing, customer care, ordering and OSS products from Amdocs CES 7.5, Amdocs' Customer Experience Systems product portfolio.
DAVE Wireless is now preparing to launch its services, following the construction of its Ericsson 3G UMTS network in five of the most populous metropolitan areas in Canada.
DAVE Wireless believes that its deal with Amdocs will enable it to achieve low-risk and rapid deployment, which will enable it to eventually offer competitive voice and data services to Canadians.
