Aircom International has appointed Alwyn Welch as its new CEO. Aircom chairman, John Hughes, who has been performing the role of acting CEO, will remain involved in day-to-day operations and transfer overall responsibility to Alwyn over the coming weeks.
Welch commenced immediately and assumed overall leadership of Aircom’s senior management team.
Welch comes to Aircom with more than 30 years experience working for both major public and private companies in the telecommunications and IT sectors.
Prior to joining AIRCOM, he held senior management and CEO roles at Parity Group, Unisys, Logica and Capgemini in the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
