Accedo have helped Foxtel launched their first connected TV application in Australia.
The smart TV application maker has designed and developed the Foxtel on Internet TV application for Samsung’s Smart TV platform.
Foxtel on Internet TV will enable customers to access the pay TV channels without the need to pay for installation, a lock-in contract or a Foxtel set-top-box.
The application offers direct access to a selection of 30 live Foxtel channels, including FOX8, Discovery Channel, ESPN, UKTV and Showtime, as well as Foxtel’s 8 live Olympic channels.
“This week’s launch of our Foxtel on Internet TV application means that Australian viewers can now gain instant access to a new world of live entertainment direct to their Samsung Smart TV," said Jim Rudder, Foxtel executive director of product.
