When Poland secured their place in the finals, any concerns that one of the greatest modern strikers might not be present at the World Cup in Qatar were allayed. The Poles had to qualify through the play-offs since they had finished second in Group I, 6 points behind group winners England. Their next opponents Russia were then disqualified from the playoffs due to war, and they then faced Sweden, whom they beat 2-0 to confirm their presence in Qatar 2022. In Qatar, they are drawn in Group C, alongside Argentina, Saudi Arabia and Mexico. They come into the tournament with high hopes, with all-time leading Polish marksman Robert Lewandowski in prime form and a wide array of talents to choose from.

Poland, which only managed one win in the World Cup in Russia 2018, will be desperate to advance past the group stage at the 2022 World Cup.
The results of their opening match against the Mexicans, who they will play against in Group C alongside Argentina, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia, will be crucial.
With so many excellent options at his disposal, Czeslaw Michniewicz will be hoping that Poland can proceed from the tough group to the round of 16 for the first time since they achieved the feat in 1986.

Poland at the World Cup for all Times
Poland has competed in eight World Cups, beginning with the 1938 World Cup, where they eventually lost to the Brazilians in a nail-biting 5-6 match. Poland didn't qualify for the World Cup until 36 years later, but once they did, they stunned everyone by defeating England in the 1974 qualifiers and placing third twice in the 1974 and 1982 tournaments. After taking part in 1986, Poland's prominence in international football began to wane.
Poland has managed to qualify for the 2002, 2006, and 2018 FIFA World Cups since the end of communist rule in the country in 1989, but the team was unable to repeat the success of the predecessors, exiting the group stage of all past three World Cups they have participated in with two losses before gaining a reaffirming victory in the final match.

Poland FIFA World Cup 2022 squad
Poland has recently experimented with a variety of lineups, although they appear to favor a back line of four more than most. Poland has a little more defensive stability with a 4-2-3-1, which can provide them with protection and cover while attempting to pass the ball up the field to Robert Lewandowski. In a 4-2-3-1, Piotr Zielinski will then join Lewandowski upfront but could also go up the field to attack alongside the Barcelona player with the help of the two wide players.
The seasoned Grzegorz Krychowiak is most likely going to be a component of the double pivot, protecting the defense while also serving as the connection between the defense and the attack. It would be intriguing to see how Poland uses full-backs, particularly if Matty Cash returns to the team following injury. Poland has two full backs in Matty Cash and Bartosz Bereszynski who can switch to a back three when in possession. Cash loves to attack, while Bereszynski is much more reliable defensively.
This year the Polish team comes to the World Cup tournament with better expectations, hoping to get out of the group stage as winners or runners-up, but they will face a tough Mexican side and Argentina who are widely expected to top the group.

Who is Poland's Head Coach?
The team is led by Czeslaw Michniewicz, a former coach of Legia Warsaw who was only brought on board in January after the previous manager, Paulo Sosa, left the role to manage Brazilian side Flamengo.
His prior accomplishments include guiding Legia Warsaw to their 15th Poland league triumph last year and getting Poland's Under-21 squad qualified for the European U21 Championship for the first time in 25 years.
Poland Chances at the World Cup 2022
If Poland wins Group C, and qualifies for the round of 16, they will play the Group D runners-up, who are most likely to be Denmark. If everything works out their way, Poland will bet on themselves to win that game, as well as the likely quarterfinal matchup with the inconsistent Netherlands. However, that would be going too far since Brazil will undoubtedly be the opponent in the semifinal. However, Argentina are billed the favourites to win Group C, but the Polish are more than capable of proceeding as runners-up on their day since they have a really talented squad. If they qualify from the group as runners-up, they will have to face World Champions France in what could be a very tricky fixture for them. However, they have all the capabilities to win because they are stacked in every position with totally world-class players. However, French experience would prove too much for them. If they beat France, they have a chance to play England in the latter stages of the World Cup 2022. Before they reach the round of 16 they will have to compete with regular world cup participants Mexico, who also can lay claim to the second position in the group. I expect Poland to reach the round of 16 this time, and they are more than capable, together with Argentina from Group C.
