Former Manchester United player and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opened ways for a potential return to Manchester United if required amid doubts over the future of Erik ten Hag.

The Norwegian left his role after a 4-1 Premier League defeat by Watford in November 2021. The 51-year-old was then replaced by former Manchester United player Michael Carrick before being replaced by Ralph Rangnick.
With current Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag looking in doubt, the former Manchester United striker, who helped Sir Alex Ferguson’s side to the treble in 1999, talked about his managerial career at a public event in Lillestrøm on Thursday. Solskjaer was asked about a potential return to Old Trafford, and he didn’t immediately rule it out.
“If your family asks you, you say yes every day of the week. It feels wrong to talk about jobs other people have. But I say yes.”
