Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim has again strongly criticized his forward Marcus Rashford. He stated that he would prefer to include the club's 63-year-old goalkeeping coach, Jorge Vital, in the team rather than Rashford, unless the forward commits to giving his maximum effort both in training and in life.

Rashford, who has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford during the January transfer window, has been left out of the team for the 11th successive game by Amorim during United's 1-0 Premier League win at Fulham on Sunday.
Amorim, while speaking at the press conference about why Rashford was not available following United’s 1-0 victory over Fulham, insisted he would not integrate Rashford into the team unless he changes his attitude despite strikers Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee's lack of goals in the frontline.
"It’s always the same reason. The reason is the training, the way I see what a footballer should do in training, in life. "It’s every day, every detail. If things don’t change, I will not change."
Amorim said,
Amorim went further when asked if Rashford would still be a United player come February 4 once the transfer window closes.
"It’s the same situation for every player. If you do the maximum, if you do the right things, we can use every player," "And you can see it today on the bench – we miss a little bit of pace to go to change the game, to move some pieces, but I prefer [it] like that. "I will put Vital before I put a player that doesn't give the maximum every day, so I will not change in that."

Later on Sunday, Rashford posted a 'well done' message on his Instagram story, congratulating his teammates on their win.
United goalkeeper coach Vital has worked with Ruben Amorim at both Sporting Lisbon and Braga previously and has followed the young coach Amorim to Manchester when he was announced as Erik Ten Hag’s replacement earlier this season.
