Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal has won the 2024 Golden Boy award for his astonishing performances and breakout year with Barcelona and Spain.

The 17-year-old has continually emerged as one of the best young talents in the world over the past year and was named the Kopa Trophy winner at the Ballon d'Or ceremony at the end of October. Yamal played a vital role in Spain's winning the UEFA European Championship, and he also earned the tournament's Best Young Player award.
The award is presented annually by Italian publication Tuttosport and recognizes the most outstanding under-21 footballer in Europe.

Yamal has made 16 appearances for Barcelona this season across all competitions, and he has scored six goals and provided eight assists. However, he has missed Barça's last three games with an ankle injury, but coach Flick confirmed to the press after Tuesday's win against Brest in the Champions League that he could return for Saturday's LaLiga game against Las Palmas.
