Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe was removed from a recent Adidas advertisement amidst the alleged rape case that took place in a hotel in Stockholm, Sweden, during the night from Thursday to Friday.
Bet La Liga on Bet365Real Madrid posted a promotional photo for the club's brand-new charity "Artist Pack" fashion collection, with which the Frenchman did not appear. Madrid announced the clothing line as a means to provide visibility to their charity foundation’s sporting and social projects for vulnerable groups.
However, in a post shared by teammate Jude Bellingham on his Instagram of the same image posted by Real Madrid earlier, Mbappe appeared to be standing at the back of Jude Bellingham. The post was swiftly taken down by the English midfielder, but the Mbappe alteration caught the eye of many fans.
Several reports have claimed that the Mbappé picture was removed from the campaign because Nike did not want his presence in an Adidas advertisement as regards the current ongoing investigation of an alleged rape and sexual harassment situation in Sweden.
