CIS Rejects is a team led by RAMZES666 and Fng that had a great Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22 season last year and made it to the first division. In a month, we will see a confrontation of CIS Rejects and other top teams from Eastern Europe: Team Spirit, Virtus.pro, Natus Vincere, and others. It will be fascinating. We shouldn't forget that CIS Rejects is just a mix of good players that is not supported by a professional esports organization. So it’s logical that a club would want to sign a promising roster that can both show results and work with the media. Read what organizations may sign CIS Rejects before the second DPC season begins in the material of Cybersport.Metaratings.ru.
Bet on Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22Pluses and minuses of signing CIS Rejects
The new roster of CIS Rejects has been assembled before the first DPC season. The team includes three players from the "golden" roster of Virtus.pro, a young mid with a huge rating, and everyone's favorite Belarusian, who has recently left Alliance. The full lineup is as follows.
- Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev (carry);
- Gleb "depressed kid" Zyryanov (mid);
- Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov (offlane);
- Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosian (four);
- Artsiom "Fng" Barshak (support).
The team started well enough and made it to the second CIS division without losses. It ended the season with a score of 5-2, and after the replays, took first place. This helped CIS Rejects make it to the first division.
The team plays well and with proper training, may fight for their place in the sun in the first division. As we know, the team's leaders are Ramzes666 and Fng. They are in charge of drafts and communication during the game. Such a duo looks strange but the most important thing is that it works. In any case, the CIS Rejects players may have a bright future if the guys continue training and developing and don't stand still. Since in their current form, they have no claim to win against the strongest teams in Eastern Europe, and it hardly satisfies CIS Rejects.
Bet on Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22The team has recently announced it was looking for an organization. Therefore, we decided to make the top of the clubs that can sign CIS Rejects next season. But before that, let's think if signing Ramzes666 and Co. is profitable. On the one hand, the roster looks promising, so a club that will act with dispatch can get a good roster that will show good results in the international arena. On the other hand, signing teams in Dota 2 is unprofitable, and few decide to do it. Below are the major pros and cons of signing CIS Rejects before the second DPC season.
- A promising roster that can have good results;
- Most likely, the team will be able to gain a foothold in the first division of the CIS;
- Well-known players to promote the organization;
- The players will hardly ask for exorbitant money;
- The team doesn't play on a tier-1 level;
- The stack can fail when playing against stronger teams;
- There could be discord in the team, and then all the efforts of the club would be for nothing;
- Dota 2 has more worthy stacks to sign;
- Dota 2 teams never pay off.
AS Monaco Gambit
CIS Rejects made it to the first division of Eastern Europe, and only CIS representatives play there. It's logical that this mix will be signed by the organization from this region, AS Monaco Gambit has the most chances to do that.
Before the first DPC season began, Gambit had two rosters: AS Monaco Gambit in the first division and Gambit Esports in the second one. Both teams failed the season. The first roster fell into the second division, and the second roster took only 5th place in the second division. So, now Gambit has two rosters in the second division which makes very little sense. The club management has already announced that the fate of AS Monaco Gambit remains uncertain. This team was expected to perform very well but ended up with a terrible result. Frankly speaking, it looks like disbandment.
Gambit Esports roster will remain the same. Their final place in the current season is mostly because of a coincidence than the team's level of play. Gambit Esports should at least have been in the replays. The team's goal for next season is clear — to reach the 1st DPC division. I am happy with the players' attitude and their desire to continue playing and winning together. As for the roster of AS Monaco Gambit. I risked assembling this team, it didn't pay off. It's unpleasant, but the season is just beginning. The future of the AS Monaco Gambit roster will be decided soon.
The General Manager of Gambit Esports Dota 2 division Alexander "StrangeR" Solomonov
For AS Monaco Gambit, signing the CIS Rejects roster and thus returning to the first division will be a wonderful decision. Both club management and sponsors will be happy with it, as the first division is prestigious. And after signing the contract with the Monaco football club, Gambit should be considered a good esports organization. Otherwise, this contract may be terminated/not renewed. Nobody needs such consequences, so Gambit should have at least one roster in the first division.
Besides, Gambit is quite a distinguished esports organization for the CIS. One could say that it comes right after Virtus.pro, Natus Vincere, and Team Spirit. So, it should have enough money to "feed" CIS Rejects. Whatever one may say, it's a good decision both for the players' stack and the organization. They only need to negotiate a price.
Bet on Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22Team Empire
Team Empire is a legendary esports organization founded in 2011. It used to be the best in Eastern Europe. Now one can't say it, the club is too far from that title. The rosters of Team Empire constantly fall to the second division or rise to the first one. The organization is in the middle, between tier-1 and tier-2 levels.
Team Empire had the last cool roster when it participated in the qualifiers for The International 10. Then it almost won against Team Spirit — the future tournament champions. Nevertheless, the team disbanded.
Andrii "Ghostik" Kadyk assembled the new roster from scratch, taking four newcomers to the team. Team Empire won only one match for the season (the last one) and fell to the second division. It will be hard to get out of there.
We will have reshuffles. I played at my best for two months, but it didn't bring any results. So, we need to relax a little, and we'll see what's with the team, what's with me, what role I will have.
Andrii "Ghostik" Kadyk
It sounds like Ghostik may leave the team himself. So, Team Spirit will have to assemble a roster from scratch to return to the first division. Signing CIS Rejects would be much easier. Though we don't know if Team Empire has money for that. If the organization wants to get back to the same level of play, then signing CIS Rejects is the most logical decision, albeit an expensive one. Now is the best time to come back.
Bet on Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22Team Vitality
There is a famous French club in Western Europe that is called Team Vitality. At the moment, ten rosters play under this tag. Team Vitality has cool CS:GO, League of Legends, Rainbow Six Siege rosters, and rosters for several other games. There have been rumors that Team Vitality is going to create a Dota 2 team.
A year ago, Ramzes666, SumaiL, and some other players from the upper echelon united as Just Error. The team existed for only one tournament, after which it disbanded. But even then there were rumors that Team Vitality wanted to sign Just Error. The situation with CIS Rejects is much better: the team demonstrates a stable game and good results. So, the French club may take a risk and sign it, as it wished a year ago.
In addition, a month ago it became known that the investment fund Rewired.gg invested 50 million euros in the Team Vitality project development. These investments will be used to develop the organization's cybersports rosters over the next three years. So, Team Vitality has quite a bit of money to finally form a Dota 2 team.
Bet on Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22Alliance
Alliance failed the last DPC season miserably, ending up in the second division. The organization has never sunk so low. Now it is to assemble a new good roster to try to get to the first division of Europe again. But who to make this roster out of? Only Nikolay "Nikobaby" Nikolov and Adam "Aramis" Moroz left in Alliance, and they are not in their best form. It's hard to even imagine who they need so that the team plays well. At the same time, Jonathan "Loda" Berg said it's unclear what will be on the Dota 2 roster.
Now, when the first DPC 2021/2022 season ended, we are going to rebuild the team. We haven't decided how many changes we would make. But one thing is certain: we need a team that will be motivated, not demotivated by relegation to the second division. It's a serious blow to the ego of any professional player, but I'm sure that with the right approach we can benefit from it and not only take a big step toward returning to the first DPC division but also toward our main goal of making it to The International.
Jonathan "Loda" Berg
He even encouraged Twitter users to tell him what to do with Alliance to get the team up and running and fans were happy to help. There was a lot of advice and suggestions. Among them was the idea of signing the CIS Rejects. Why not? Sounds like the hottest thing ever: Alliance is now in the CIS! Well, they'll need to change the location of the club a bit, but that's not the main thing. The main thing is that the Dota 2 roster plays well.
Alliance obviously has money to sign CIS Rejects. And the organization already knows many of the players from there personally. Especially since the management has always responded positively to fng, who was a support in Alliance last season. The decision is of course, ambiguous but very promising. It will be a precedent.
Bet on Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22B8 Esports
Someone would think it's a joke, but it isn't. B8 has as much chance of signing CIS Rejects as any other esports organization not listed above. In other words, if B8 Esports (or other clubs from the list) doesn't sign CIS Rejects, then nobody will sign them.
B8 Esports was relegated from the second division of the CIS, and at the same time, set a new personal anti-record for the number of consecutive losses. Now it has to win the open qualifiers to get back there. However, looking at the team's current game, we do not believe it at all. It's highly likely that if B8 Esports doesn't sign any rosters of the first and second divisions now, this organization will fade into oblivion. Since it will simply have nowhere to play.
And who should it sign to keep the precious slot? Why not CIS Rejects? They need to solve only two problems: to find enough money and persuade Dendi to leave the central corridor. That would be legendary. And if the organization provides all the necessary conditions for a comfortable game and training, CIS Rejects should not be against playing under the auspices of B8 Esports.
