The 40-year-old talented goal scorer received the Guinness World Record plaque at Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon before Portugal's Nations League quarter-final second leg. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner became the player with the most wins in international matches with 132 wins, beating his former Real Madrid teammate Sergio Ramos' record.

Ronaldo now holds four Guinness World Records: the most goals in international football, being the first player to score 100 goals in the UEFA Champions League, and ranking as the third most-followed male on Instagram.

Since making his debut for the Portuguese national team in 2003, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a record-breaking 135 goals in 218 appearances for the Portugal national team, making him the all-time leading scorer in men's international football.
