Following the regular season, all pairings for the teams in the Eastern Conference and the participants of the first round of the National Hockey League playoffs in 2024 have been revealed.
The final team to secure a spot in the Stanley Cup playoffs was the Washington Capitals, defeating the Philadelphia Flyers in an away game with a score of 2:1.
The pairings for the Eastern Conference teams in the first round of the Stanley Cup 2024 are as follows:
- New York Rangers vs. Washington Capitals;
- Carolina Hurricanes vs. New York Islanders;
- Florida Panthers vs. Tampa Bay Lightning;
- Boston Bruins vs. Toronto Maple Leafs.
The pairings for the Western Conference teams will be determined later, including participants such as Vegas Golden Knights, Dallas Stars, Vancouver Canucks, Winnipeg Jets, Colorado Avalanche, Edmonton Oilers, Nashville Predators, and Los Angeles Kings.
