Journalist Jacobs Claims Pochettino Will Continue Working At Chelsea

Journalist Ben Jacobs revealed on his social media that Mauricio Pochettino, the head coach of Chelsea, is highly likely to continue his work at the London club after the current season ends.

According to the journalist, the senior management of the Blues leans towards keeping the Argentine coach. It is reported that the likelihood of their partnership continuing is quite high because Pochettino's work is positively evaluated by the club.

Pochettino has been leading Chelsea since May 29, 2023. The specialist's contract with the London club is set to run until the summer of 2025, with the possibility of extension for another year.

In the current season of the English Premier League, the Blues are in seventh place in the table after 35 matches with 54 points. Chelsea's next match will be away against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground Stadium on Saturday, May 11, with the game kicking off at 19:30 GMT+3.

Earlier, Pochettino mentioned that the owners of Chelsea had stopped communicating with him.

There is also information that players of the London club demanded the dismissal of the Argentine coach.
