Bayern Sporting Director Hints At Bias Of Referees In Champions League Match Against Real

Sports director of the German club Max Eberl shared his thoughts on the officiating of the Champions League semi-final second leg match between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid (1-2).

Journalist Kerry Hau quotes Eberl on his social media:

We were all for a German Final. Everyone except the Polish referees!

The match between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich took place on May 8 at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid, Spain. The refereeing team was led by Szymon Marciniak from Poland.

After the game, Real Madrid's head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, declared the current Real Madrid team as the best he had managed in his career.
